Study Description: Can antioxidants improve male fertility? Enrollment is underway for an OBGYN research study for heterosexual couples with a male partner who has had at least one abnormal semen analysis in the past six months.

Eligibility Criteria: Heterosexual couples with at least one year of infertility history who are cohabitating and able to have regular intercourse. Males must be at least 18 years of age and have at least one abnormal semen parameter on a semen analysis within the last six months. Female partner must have regular menstrual cycles (every 25-35 days) and evidence of ovulation via basal body temp, positive ovulation prediction kits, or progesterone > 3 ng/ml. Couples who have had previous sterilization procedures are excluded as are males with serious medical conditions such as uncontrolled diabetes, thyroid problems or is on anticoagulant therapy. Females are excluded if the BMI is > 35, currently pregnant, has serious medical illness or has moderate to severe endometriosis or polycystic ovarian syndrome.
