Predictors of Success: BSN Curriculum and NCLEX-RN Outcomes


Study Description: The purpose of this study is to investigate why students are struggling in BSN nursing curriculum and to pass the national board certification examination (NCLEX-RN) on the first attempt. The results of this project will be used for further understanding what factors contribute to students? performance on the NCLEX-RN examination. We hope that the results of this study will be useful for helping Augusta University and other nursing programs to better understand ways to help their students do well on the NCLEX-RN examination.

Principal Investigator: Sharon Cosper

Eligibility Criteria: Participants will be included in the study if they: Were a student graduate who was enrolled in the Augusta University?s BSN program between the years of 2015-2017. Are a faculty member currently employed within the Augusta University College of Nursing.

Compensation: No, subjects will not be compensated.
