The On-line Collaborative Research Environment (OnCore) is a comprehensive web-based clinical research management system (CRMS) that seamlessly integrates all of the components of research activity across the research enterprise.
OnCore is Augusta University’s CRMS of record. OnCore provides an informatics infrastructure for managing research, including the full range of operational components:
Clinical trial lifecycle management
Study participant and safety management
Electronic data capture
Scientific Review Committee management
Reporting
Biospecimen management
Sponsor billing compliance
Study budget management
Patient registries, and
Integration with other enterprise-wide systems.
OnCore is designed to lessen the burden on investigators and research staff, so that conducting research is organized and efficient. It is not limited to administrative tasks, however. OnCore has the capability to capture and store research data that can be exported for additional analyses and reporting.

Target Audience: Research members of institutions participating as a site for a protocol in which Augusta University is the coordinating center: Regulatory Coordinator, Research Manager, Protocol Coordinator, Research Coordinator, Study Coordinator, Clinical Research Associate, Nurse Clinician, Research Associate, and/or Research Assistant.
Training covers OnCore basics, such as navigating OnCore, personalizing the home page, and an overview of the PC and CRA/Subjects consoles.

Target Audience: Principal and Sub-investigators for Augusta University/AUMC employees.
Training video covers OnCore basics, such as navigating OnCore, personalizing the home page, and an overview of the Data Safety Monitoring Committee (DSMC), PC and CRA/Subjects consoles.
*BIOSTATISTICIANS TRAINING *
Target Audience: Biostatistician, Statistician, Data Manager
The Biostat Console is used to extract data from OnCore for use in statistical analysis tools. This training covers how data is populated in the Biostat Console, viewing subject accrual information, forms, SAEs, data exporting, and the protocol calendar. This online session serves as training for statisticians listed as research members for a particular protocol to gain access to study information in OnCore.
*AU EMPLOYEE TRAINING*
For Augusta University research staff who cannot attend the OnCore Basics instructor-led training session, an available option is to view two of the pre-recorded training videos located on the Learning Portal, "Protocol Management webinar v14" and "Subject Management webinar." After viewing these two videos, a competency quiz must be passed before access to OnCore can be granted.
