Student Success is vital to the mission of the institution. Within Academic and Faculty Affairs, we have three units that support the retention, progression, and graduation of our undergraduate students.
The Academic Advisement Center is responsible for advising all undergraduate students who have earned 0-60 credit hours, any pre-majors, and any student returning from academic difficulty. The Academic Advisement Center is located on the second floor of University Hall.
Career Services is responsible for helping students successfully enter the workforce. Career Services provides career counseling, personality tests such as Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, resume development, and interview workshops. Career Services is located on the second floor of University Hall.
First and Second Year Experiences provides programming and activities that are known to impact the development of students in their first and second year. FYE/SYE is responsible for activities such as Convocation and Freshman 1101, Declaration Day, INQR 1000, and EXPO.
