The Arts Incubator is a new living-learning community based in Oak Hall that is now accepting applications for Fall 2018. It is open to incoming arts-interested freshmen of any major.
The Arts Incubator will provide students with unique opportunities to explore the arts and hone their creativity through shared living and learning experiences in the local community and beyond, including a Study Away experience in Washington, D.C. Arts Incubator participants will be empowered to unlock their creative potential and make lifelong friends.
The Arts Incubator Living-Learning Community is designed to provide a community in which arts-interested freshmen live and learn together.
Unique experiences within and outside of the classroom will support students' art appreciation, practice, and experimentation in an inclusive and collaborative environment and connect them with the arts, events, and leaders in Augusta's River Region. Additionally, the Arts Incubator will help develop students' capacity for leadership and creativity through arts-centered community projects.
The Arts Incubator experience is designed to leave a lasting impression on the lives of our students, with courses and event experiences tailored specifically to those interested in any aspect of the arts.

In addition to all of the opportunities available to explore the local arts industry and community within Augusta's River Region, members of the Arts Incubator are automatically eligible for a Study Away experience in Washington, D.C., during the Spring 2019 semester.
This unique chance to explore the world-renowned arts culture of the nation's capital is designed exclusively for Arts Incubator participants, ensuring that our students get an immersive arts-focused education that will stay with them long after they graduate.
