Will Tullis has operated Tullis Photography in Augusta, Georgia, since receiving his
degree in photography from North Georgia Tech in Clarksville, Georgia in 1969. He
has also worked with two of the largest studios in the Augusta area. While working
with Frank Christian Studio, he was one of the staff Photographers recording the Masters
Golf tournament for years. His work from there appeared in several books and articles

Will has also been a staff medical photographer at the VA Medical Center in Augusta for 35 years. During this time he has operated Tullis Photography, specializing in the photography of models, beauty queens, and actors. His Headshots are widely renowned to be some of the best in the South due to his proficiency with lighting and photographic techniques. This combined with his employing only the best makeup artists and hairdressers, eliminates photo retouching, a common practice among pageant photographers.
Will is co-founder of the Destin Beach Photographic Workshop in Florida, an annual event 1986,-1999 teaching classes on glamour and beauty photography.
Will taught basic photography at Aiken Technical College in 1979, including darkroom, film developing, and B&W printing. Will also teaches at Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art. Will has been a instructor at (Augusta State, GRU Augusta University since 2013.
Will continues his photo education by attending seminars and classes on glamour photography, lighting, posing and computer enhancement throughout the US. He feels that his photo education is ever-evolving process and that he is ever the student.
Katie has had Photoshop training since Oct. 2000. She has studied under many of the industry’s greats. Currently she is the retouch and restoration artist for Kevin Jiminez Photography & a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP)/Kelby One since 2001 and the American Society of Photographers. Currently she teaches Photoshop for Continuing Ed at the local University, as well as at various speaking engagements. She’s earned the Photographic Craftsman Degree from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Service Degree from the Georgia Professional Photographers Association (GPPA). Photographically, she is working towards the Fellowship Degree with the GPPA, and in January of 2018, she will be awarded the Master of Photography Degree by the PPA.
Kevin has been at full-time Studio owner since the early '90s. His romantic style has earned him numerous awards with the Georgia Professional Photographers Association (GPPA), the Southeastern Professional Photographers Association, & the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). He has earned both the Masters of Photography & Craftsman Degrees through the PPA, holds the Fellowship and Service Degrees from the GPPA, and is a member of the American Society of Photographers. Currently, he is the Executive Director for the GPPA & the Director of the PPA Affiliated School, Photoworks Georgia. He regularly speaks, teaches, & judges Print Competitions at the local University & throughout the southeast.
Phil holds a degree in in Photojournalism, and has been a professional photographer for over 30 years. Phil worked for various newspapers for 8 years and has been the senior photographer for Augusta University for the past 28 years. He regularly utilizes all types of photography including magazine, portrait, sports, technical, medical and just about any kind of images needed by a large university.
When Casey Szocinski was stationed in Vietnam, he purchased his first camera and started shooting with ektrachrome film “and all those photos have faded now,” he said.
It was about 20 years ago when his interest in the medium escalated. During his time working for the U.S. Postal Service, Szocinski started shooting weddings and shot between 25 and 30 events before he retired.
He enjoys photography clubs and is a member of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association that has regional organizations, meets every other month and also holds an annual meeting of the membership (1,300-plus) in larger cities like Charlotte, with national speakers and vendors. This association produces a quarterly newsletter, Camera in the Wild, and features members’ photographs. In addition to the North Augusta Artists Guild, he is member of the Columbia Camera Club and the Aiken Center for the Arts.
His photographs have been published in South Carolina Wildlife and he was a finalist in a competition offered by South Carolina Wildlife magazine. He has been a multiple award winner at the Greenwood Festival of Flowers, with first-, second-, and third-place ribbons.
