The Career Advancement initiative is a landmark program that opens the door to our
military spouses for portable careers.
Workers in high-demand portable occupations are able to pick up and move when their loved ones are reassigned, yet, are still able to continue their career path and future.
Augusta University's ONLINE, ANYTIME, PORTABLE TRAINING for PORTABLE CAREERS offer the complete solution for the Military Spouse.
Many of these programs are already listed on the MyCAA Portal and include all courseware
and exams. Most are online.
Course details available at https://augmilitaryspouse.theknowledgebase.org/MyCAA
* Courses marked with an asterisk are offered on campus and online.
**You may choose other programs not listed at the AI Portal. For information, please contact Paula Owens at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you don't qualify for MYCAA funds, there are other resources you may be eligible for (NOTE: the application deadline for this year has passed. Pay attention to their next deadline):
There is a new rule for the reopened MyCAA program and degree programs. Only Associate degree programs are eligible - no Bachelors or Masters degree programs will be accepted. For academic credit (degree) programs, please go to the Augusta University Registrar's Office for course catalog, class schedules, and registration information. NOTE: You must have an Augusta University 927# before filling in course info on the MyCAA forms online. The Military One Source counselors require it.
