Notes: Earned grade of C or better in each course is required for admission to the Nursing major. Students taking core curriculum will be designated a Pre-Nursing Student. Augusta University students will apply for acceptance into the Nursing major when core curriculum is still in progress. All core must be complete before beginning Nursing (BSN) program.
Transfer Students:
If a student has complete Pre-Nursing or Nursing core areas from another school in the University System of Georgia, then Augusta University will accept the areas as satisfied.
A student who plans to transfer from a school not in the University System of Georgia should complete the courses that are equivalent to the Augusta University core.
Upper division nursing course courses from another nursing program cannot be transferred into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.

* Augusta University Wellness 1000 (2 hrs) and Physical Activity Wellness Courses (2 hrs) are required for graduation. Exemptions exist for transfer students with 60 credit hours or more. See: Wellness Requirement
** All nursing students take statistics.
***Courses meet US and GA legislative requirements for graduation. See: Legislative Requirements
**** If Area F courses total more than 18 credits, additional hours may be counted toward general electives.
