This conference will help students gain a better understanding of health profession school, with emphasis on medical school. The conference provides interactive workshops and simulations designed to hone participants’ skills and preparation that are necessary for successful admission and matriculation. High School Participants
Participants also have opportunity to tour the Augusta University Medical College of Georgia teaching and learning community in addition to visiting vendor exhibits. A key feature of the conference is the Undergraduate Research Poster session, which provides students an opportunity to present their scholarly research work.
Additionally, the conference provides special sessions for high school and college advisors and parents that will help in advising students along their pre-health educational pathway.

2018 Conference Schedule (Coming Soon)
Early Registration for the 2018 Igniting the Dream of Medicine Conference is now open. Early registration ends February 10, 2018. Late registration begins February 11, 2018 and runs through the day of conference. On site late registration will be available Saturday, February 24, 2018.

We are expecting approximately 400 high school and college students (mostly college). In addition, medical students will participate in conference activities. Conference attendees will have time during the Saturday morning registration, at breaks, and lunch to speak with vendors. Additional information will be provided to vendors upon receipt of the registration fee.
