Nov 1 Departmental chair to submit 1 original plus 2 copies (3 if Graduate Studies joint appointment) of each dossier with his/her own separate recommendation to school-level FADPT committee.  Electronic CV’s and the Outstanding Service Form/Academic Accomplishments Form are sent to Office of Faculty Affairs for all faculty being forwarded. Deadline for appeal of chair’s recommendations – 10 calendar days following notification
Nov thru Dec School FADPT reviews and forwards draft letters to Dean’s Office for review and typing. School FADPT Committee
December 31 School-level FADPT Committee completes review and submits complete portfolios and recommendations to Dean School FADPT Committee
  Dean will make his own assessment and decision for each candidate and make it known to chairperson Dean
Deadline for appeal of dean’s recommendations – 10 calendar days following notification
January 31 Dean’s recommendations are transmitted to Vice President for Instruction/Associate Provost along with 1 copy of the complete portfolio of each candidate Dean

Faculty members may officially appeal decisions at the following points (Include Link-MCG section 5.5):

1.        Department chair’s recommendation: Appeal requests must be submitted to the dean within 10 calendar days following notification of chair’s decision.

2.        Dean’s recommendation: Appeal requests must be submitted to the president within 10 calendar days following notification of the dean’s decision.

3.        President’s recommendation: Appeal requests must be submitted to the Board of Regents within 20 days following notification of the president’s decision.
