Deadline for appeal of chair’s recommendations – 10 calendar days following notification
11/2007 thru 12/2007 School FADPT reviews and forwards draft letters to Dean’s Office for review and typing. School FADPT Committee
12/31/2007 School-level FADPT Committee completes review and submits complete portfolios and recommendations to Dean School FADPT Committee
Dean will make his own assessment and decision for each candidate and make it known to chairperson Dean

Faculty members may officially appeal decisions at the following points (Include Link-MCG section 5.5):

1.        Department chair’s recommendation: Appeal requests must be submitted to the dean within 10 calendar days following notification of chair’s decision.

2.        Dean’s recommendation: Appeal requests must be submitted to the president within 10 calendar days following notification of the dean’s decision.

3.        President’s recommendation: Appeal requests must be submitted to the Board of Regents within 20 days following notification of the president’s decision.
