The Adult Neuropsychology Service at AU Health performs comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations of patients suspected of having cognitive impairment associated with neurological conditions affecting the brain. Common referrals include patients with dementia, head trauma, stroke, epilepsy, or altered mental status with unknown etiology (cause/origin).
The Department of Neurology at Augusta University offers a two-year postdoctoral fellowship program in clinical neuropsychology which conforms to the Houston Conference Guidelines on Specialty Education & Training in Clinical Neuropsychology.
