This concept encourages workers to culticvate the depth and breadth of their skills and knowledge in order to be prepared for opportunities in the workforce. Earning a degree or certificate is but the beginning of a person's preparation for a job.
Our sessions will focus on exploring the depth and breadth of your professional knowledge and skills, as well as 3 dimensions of your career: disciplines, sectors and regions you are able and interested in working in.
There are times during a person's journey toward leadership development that the results of a valid and reliable assessment can provide insights into a leader as a person. The following assessment tools are currently available by certified faculty.

The Office of Leadership Development is committed to serving our community and others
throughout the State of Georgia. We will customize our leadership development courses and programs to meet the needs of your culture.
Current customers include: Richmond County Schools, SRP Federal Credit Union and Serotta Maddocks Evans, CPAs, just to name a few.
The Office of Leadership Development uses a 360 tool administered by a third party vendor, The Hay Group (aka Korn Ferry), titled the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory (ESCI) to provide meaningful feedback to AU and AUMC leaders striving to develop their talents and skills. Once the ESCI results are confidentially aggregated from supervisors, colleagues, peers, and direct reports into a final report, the participant will receive 2 hours of executive coaching from an external, certified coach.
