Fall 2017 & Spring 2018 Meal Plan Options

RESIDENTIAL PLANS (Added to your account with your housing application)

Jaguar Blue Plan  $1575.00, includes $425.00 flex dollars

Minimum required plan for all undergraduate housing students living on the Health Sciences campus each semester.

  • 12 All You Care to Eat Meals in Atrium Dining Hall each week.
  • $425.00 Flex dollars for use in all other AU dining locations (Except McDonald’s, Food Trucks)
Note: Atrium Dining Hall Swipes are only for the patron, no meal sharing.

 

Jaguar Gold Plan $1935.00, includes $425.00 flex dollars

Upgrade plan for undergraduate housing students living on the Health Sciences campus each semester.

  • 19 All You Care to Eat Meals in Atrium Dining Hall each week.
  • $425.00 Flex dollars for use in all other AU dining locations (Except McDonald’s, Food Trucks)

University Village Plan  $250.00 flex dollars

Minimum required plan for students living in University Village. Allows $250.00 flex dollars at all dining locations. (Except McDonald’s, Food Trucks)        

OPTIONAL and COMMUTER PLANS

Commuter 10 Plan  $465.00, includes $375.00 flex dollars

Available to all students, but ideal for residential graduate and commuter students. Allows any 10 meals each semester in Atrium Dining Hall and $375.00 flex dollars for use in other Augusta University dining locations. (Except McDonald’s, Food Trucks)

Commuter 20 Plan  $345.00, includes $175.00 flex dollars

Available to all students, but ideal for residential graduate and commuter students. Allows any 20 meals each semester in Atrium Dining Hall and $175.00 flex dollars for use in other Augusta University dining locations. (Except McDonald’s, Food Trucks)

Jaguar Flex  $175.00

Available to all faculty, staff & students, but ideal for residential graduate and commuter students. $175.00 in flex dollars plus three free swipes in Atrium Dining Hall. For use in all Augusta University dining locations. (Except McDonald’s, Food Trucks)

House Staff Dining

Residents participating in programs that require in-house overnight call use their JagCard (I.D. badge) to access hospital provided dining funds.

  • Call rotation dining allowances are determined by the GME office, from the departmental call schedule $20.00 for week night call, and $25.00 for weekend or holiday call. Funds are given for AU Health hospital in-house overnight call (24 hours) only.
  • Any resident, intern, or fellow that receives additional compensation for extra pay, extra duty, or meal monies for being on call (either in-house or home call came into hospital (minimum 6 hours) must submit theOne45 duty hour report  to the GME Office for meal monies BEFORE compensation will be made. Correct recording of hours, day, time, shift type, and location must be accurately indicated.
  • Funding for each month’s call rotation is a separate 'plan’ and each plan balance is reported individually. When two (or more) plans are valid, the 'first’ plan is used until it expires or reaches a $0 balance - THEN the 'next’ plan is automatically accessed.   
  • Personal funds (JagCard cash) are accessed ONLY when housestaff funds are expired or depleted. Personal funds DO NOT EXPIRE
  • You can manage your JagCard account ONLINE -- check your balance(s), view transactions, and make deposits 24/7 to your personal account from any computer with internet access.
  • Housestaff Dining funds may be used at ALL campus and hospital dining locations, (except food trucks)
  • Housestaff meal fund plans are listed online as: "HSTF Dining" (monthly allowances named as JAN, FEB, MAR, etc.)
