Application Submission Process

Graduate Students are admitted through a cooperative effort between the:

  • Programs' Academic Home (the college that offers the graduate degree or certificate program
  • Program's Administrative Home (The Graduate School)
  • Office of Academic Admissions

All official required documentation, including the complete application, must be submitted and received by the program's application deadline. Early application and early submission of all supporting materials is strongly advised.  All application deadlines are program specific.

  • TGS Graduate Programs

     

    Application Material & Documents Submission

    This section is for all TGS Graduate Programs with the exception of Nursing.

    Application materials & documents (e.g. transcripts, proof of degree, transcript evaluations, etc.) are submitted directly to and processed through Augusta University's Office of Academic Admissions. Request all official collegiate transcripts (to include any foreign transcript evaluations) be sent directly to:

    Alternatively, the Office of Academic Admissions will accept official electronic transcripts from the Registrar's office at your prior institution. Electronic transcripts should be directed to admissions@augusta.edu.


    Application Status Check

    Applicants can monitor the receipt and processing of their application and application documents into the Augusta University system using the online status check. Application decisions will not be made until all official documents have been received.

  • Nursing Programs

     

    Application Material & Documents Submission

    This section is for all Nursing Graduate Programs.

    Applications, references and all application materials and documents (e.g. transcript, proof of degree, transcript evaluations, etc.) are submitted via the Nursing CAS online application. Request all official collegiate transcripts (to include any foreign transcript evaluations) be sent directly to:

    All current and former Augusta University students will need to have official Augusta University transcripts sent to NursingCAS. Alternatively, NursingCAS will accept official electronic transcripts from the registrar's office at your prior institution. Electronic transcripts should be directed to nursingcasinfo@nursingcas.org.


    Application Status Check

    Applicants can monitor NursingCAS's recipt and processing of their application and application documents in the NursingCAS system using the Check Status tab after logging into the online application.

  • MS in Allied Health in Nutrition

    Applicants to the MS in Allied Health with a Concentration in Nutrition must complete the following to apply:

Application Review

The program/academic college for which you are applying will review your application and supporting documents. Interviews will be scheduled and considered, as applicalbe to individual programs. Taken together, the whole of your application should demonstrate substantial preparation for graduate study in the field for which you are seeking admittance. 

Decision Notification

Upon recommendation of the program/academic college, The Graduate School will review your credentails and applicant profile and make a formal, official decision for your admittance. Official notice of your admission can only come from the Dean of The Graduate School via notification from Augusta University's Office of Academic Admissions.
