Budget Services

The purpose of the Office of Budget Services is to translate the mission and goals of Augusta University into an operational financial plan. The department collaborates with stakeholders to understand their priorities as it relates to the overall strategic goals of the university.

Financial Operations

The purpose of the Financial Operations area is to provide accounts receivable, accounts payable, travel, payroll and financial information system support for faculty, staff and students.  

Financial Accounting and Reporting

The purpose of the Financial Accounting and Reporting area is to accurately account for and report on all financial resources of the university to provide transparency in governance of state and federal funds and other local resources for which the university is accountable.

Supply Management

The purpose of the Supply Management area is to provide support to the university in delivering low cost, high quality education and healthcare by providing effective and efficient supply chain operations (such as purchasing, distribution, asset management and inventory control) and assisting others in the organization to maximize all supply chain resources.

Public Safety and Police

The purpose of the Augusta University (AU) Police Department is to promote a safe atmosphere in which the university’s teaching, discovery, clinical care and service mission can be successful.  This is accomplished through traditional and progressive law enforcement practices and strong community partnerships.
