Bio

Jack C. Borders, Jr., MD, is the chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Wofford College and he graduated from MCG and was President of MCG’s chapter of AOA. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-H&N Surgery at Johns Hopkins University and a fellowship in Pediatric Airway Management in Sydney. In 2006, he was recruited as Chief Medical Officer at Tawam Hospital (in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine International) in the UAE. He came back to the USA at GRU from 2009-2011. He was brought back to the UAE as CEO of Oasis Hospital, but is now returning home on a permanent basis to help expand and diversify the Pediatric Division at CHOG .

Dr. Borders is trained and is interested in teaching all aspects of Pediatric Otolaryngology and specializes in infant and childhood critical airway management.

Research Interests

Dr. Borders' research focuses on improved methods of airway manipulation and reconstruction as well as the study and improved management of pediatric upper respiratory infections.
