Educational Programs

Your dental program experience will be vibrant and engaging in a program focused on patient-centered care. You will receive early exposure to patients as you are guided by caring and committed faculty.

The Doctor of Dental Medicine program will educate you to become a licensed and competent general practitioner prepared to offer quality dental care and treatment to a diverse patient population.

The Advanced Education programs are designed to to provide you with a superior level of clinical skill and in-depth knowledge of the biological and clinical sciences that apply to the specialty.

The Graduate Program and the Oral Biology program of the Dental College offer a Maxillofacial Pathology Oral Biology Dual Degree. The combined M.S./D.M.D. and PhD./D.M.D. programs require admission to the Dental College of Georgia as a dental student. At the end of the second year of dental school, the student begins a course of study working toward the graduate degree requirements. The student then re-enters the dental school to complete the D.M.D. degree requirements.
