Student Organizations

Get Involved

Our student organizations offer ways for you to get involved in volunteer opportunities, social events, cultural projects, outreach, and fundraisers.  They provide networking, education, entertainment, and a sense of community outside of class. Each organization provides its own unique perspective and opportunities.

The American Student Dental Association is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students. It introduces students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation and advocacy. Here at Augusta University, ASDA hosts numerous events throughout the school year, such as the Welcome Back Party, Table Clinic Day, the Talent show, and as well as numerous lunch and learns and social functions. Every dental student at Augusta University is an ASDA member, eligible for both national and local ASDA benefits. As an ASDA member, we benefit from being members of both the GDA and ADA. Our organization is interested in fighting for the rights of dental students and dentists alike, attending State and National Lobby Days to advocate for the rights of dental students.
