Dr. Hatcher Dr. William Hatcher

Associate Professor and Director

Dr. Hatcher completed his undergraduate and MPA degrees at Georgia College and State University before completing his PhD in Public Policy and Administration at Mississippi State. His expertise is in public budgeting and finance and community development. Dr. Hatcher is the Director of the MPA Program and serves as advisor to all MPA students.

Dr. Ribando pulls from her practical experience and knowledge of public policy and program evaluation to help students grasp how to use analytical tools to address the difficult challenges facing today's public and nonprofit managers and leaders.  


Randall D. MillerDr. Randall D. Miller

Associate Professor

A true "pracademic," Dr. Miller uses his experience as a combat infantryman in Vietnam and career fire service officer to give students insight into the challenges of leading and managing today's workforce. He brings practical experience and scholarly theories in organizational theory and human resource management together in a way students both grasp and enjoy.

Associate Professor

A native of Ghana and graduate of the University of Akron, Dr. Hammond brings his research in social policy and economic development into the classroom to help students understand the nature of social and economic problems and the impact they have on individuals and societies as a whole.

Martha GinnDr. Martha Ginn

Associate Professor

One of the nation's leading scholars in judicial politics, Dr. Ginn's research work in judicial selection, decision-making, and politics is widely cited. Her unique blend of legal expertise and analytical skill coupled with a passion for the Constitution make her the perfect choice to teach our students what they need to know about the Constitution and the law. 








Dr. Wesley Meares

Dr. Wesley Meares

Assistant Professor

Wesley L. Meares is an assistant professor in political science and public administration at Augusta University. He also directs the interdisciplinary nonprofit minor. His research interest include housing, economic development, sustainability, urban politics and policy, and the role of nonprofits in neighborhood revitalization. He earned his MPA from Western Kentucky University and his BA in Political Science from LaGrange College. He has published a number of articles in top urban journals and coauthored a series of reports for the Housing Authority of Covington and various private developers.


 Dr. Allison Foley Dr. Allison Foley

Associate Professor

Dr. Foley joined the Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Social Work in 2008, having completed her PhD. in Sociology at the University of Colorado. Among the courses she teaches are Deviance and Women, Crime, and the Criminal Justice Center.

Dr. Bill ReeseDr. Bill Reese

Dr. Reese is a Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Social Work. He teaches Social theory, Delinquency, Juvenile Justice, Youth and Society, Criminology, and Introduction to Sociology.
