Intramural Sports Official/Scorekeeper

Intramural Sports Official Job Description:

  • Report to work 15 minutes prior to competition ready to work and in uniform
  • Fulfill schedule obligations
  • Assist with set-up and tear down of Intramural equipment as needed
  • Make sure scorecards are correct
  • Assist with special events
  • Attend and participate in all scheduled training sessions and meetings related to Intramural Sports.
  • Thorough knowledge of Intramural rules and regulations along with officiating procedures pertaining to each particular sport
  • Assist in maintaining safe playing conditions for all games
  • Submit to periodic written and practical evaluations
  • Knowledge of emergency policy and procedures
  • Consciousness of games and potential problems and conflicts
  • All other assigned duties

Intramural Sports Scorekeeper Job Description:

  • Accurately maintain the score and time for various sporting events including basketball, flag football, futsal, soccer, softball, and volleyball
  • Check and verify student identification prior to the start of each contest
  • Report to work 15 minutes prior to competition ready for work
  • Assist in game preparation and tear down
  • Knowledge of the University's Intramural Sports Program policies
  • Attend and participate in any mandatory training sessions for each sport
  • Communicate any problem, member concerns, or suggestions to the Intramural Coordinator or Graduate Assistant 
  • All other assigned duties

Work Schedule:

  • (Varies depending on sport)
  • IM Sports are offered Monday - Thursday from 6PM - 10PM

Pay:

  • $7.50/hr.

NOTE: No experience necessary, training provided for each sport. Officials are needed for Volleyball, Futsal, Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, Dodgeball, and Softball. Front Desk Assistant

  • Currently Certified in CPR/First Aid
  • Assist with front desk duties to include:  membership sales and service, maintains the front desk, answers phones, and processes clerical work
  • Monitor facility

Work Schedule:

  • 4 hour shifts

Student Manager

Descriptions/Responsibilities:

  • Currently Certified in CPR/First Aid
  • On Site Supervisors for front desk assistants and is responsible for all front desk operations, conducts rounds, identifies maintenance needs, ensures building safety
  • Executes facility turnover/monitor facility

Work Schedule:

  • 4 hour shifts

 


Wellness Ambassador

Description/Responsibilities:

  • Organize, implement, and evaluate wellness events and activities
  • Be a member of the Student Wellness Council

Work Schedule:

  • 12 hours per week
