The College of Allied Health Sciences at Augusta University is initiating a new, online Master of Physician Assistant (MPA) Bridge Program that will allow graduates with a Baccalaureate in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited physician assistant program to earn a master’s degree while continuing their career in health care. Nationally certified physician assistants who graduated from an accredited physician assistant program and alumni from the Medical College of Georgia Physician Assistant Program who graduated between the years of 1974 and 2007 will be eligible to apply for the MPA Bridge Program. The BS to MPA Bridge Program curriculum will be a web-based program that enables a practicing physician assistant to remain in their community while completing their course of study. The degree awarded at the completion of the bridge program will be the professional degree, MPA.
