Mission

The program’s mission reflects the 2012 standards and to meet the demands of the dynamic field of nutrition and dietetics. The program’s mission statement is “to preparing entry level dietitians by providing applied professional experiences to augment the interns’ theoretical knowledge”. The mission fully embraces the mission, vision, and values of the University.

 Goals
  • The HIA curriculum will include, at a minimum, the required knowledge cluster content and experiences that will enable students to meet current RHIA entry-level competencies.
  • Faculty will demonstrate current knowledge and expertise in the areas they teach.
  • Graduates will demonstrate RHIA entry-level competencies.
  • Our HIA program will provide leadership and educational opportunities to our community
