Clinical and Digital Health Sciences


We are a passionate group of faculty and staff focused on providing high-quality education while working on cutting-edge research projects.

We offer a Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy, an Associate-to-bachelor's bridge program in Respiratory Therapy, a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration, a Master of Public Health with concentrations in Health Informatics, Health Management, Environmental Health and Social and Behavioral Sciences, and a Master of Science in Allied Health with concentration in Nutrition with a Dietetic Internship.

Our students practice with medical simulators, have access to state-of-the-art equipment and train in highly reputable hospitals and medcal centers locally and across the nation. All our academic programs are top-ranked nationally and are accredited by national institutional agencies. We are also proud to educate our students on important aspects of health care delivery such as ethics, patient communication and teamwork.


While contributing to the education of the next generations of health professionals, the Clinical and DIgital Health Sciences department focuses on investigating new models and methodologies related to personalized and precision medicine.

Our faculty are involved in research projects related to environmental health, nutrition, respiratory therapy education assessment, modeling and simulation, e-health, health economics, physical activity, epidemiology and chronic diseases.

Our department also engages in research and commercialization opportunities in the digital health arena. The current faculty of the CDHS department are funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the United States Department of Defense (D0D) for a total of approximately 2 million dollars.
