The mission of the CAHS Advisory Board is to inform strategic planning for the college, including development and implementation of short- and long-term goals, community outreach and service, and to garner support for education and research.
Board membership consist of up to 25 members selected by the Dean in consultation with the Office of Advancement and current board members. Consideration shall be given to a diverse representation.
Two-year terms may be renewed three consecutive times, at which time a member may rotate off for one term before becoming eligible to serve again.
Meetings are held two to four times per academic year, per the Dean’s discretion.
Appointment terms are staggered with approximately one third of the membership newly appointed each year.

The Board reports bi-annually to the Board of Visitors, a group of advisors providing counsel to the Augusta University President. These reports are due at each spring and fall meeting and will contain status updates on CAHS goals, fundraising activities, current challenges, and achievements.
