HIGH SCHOOL GUIDANCE COUNSELOR WORKSHOP

Save the Date! Georgia Regent's Office of Admissions is offering its eighth annual workshop for high school guidance counselors on January 29 & 30, 2015, providing information on topics to assist you in the college advising process. The intensive two-day workshop is approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission to award one SDU/PLU for professional experience. The PLU's will be processed through the Augusta University College of Education.

Some of the topics that will be addressed include:

  • Local Collegiate Options Panel
  • University System of Georgia Update
  • College Counselor Forum
  • What's New with HOPE, Financial Aid & Accel
  • Survival Skills for High School Counselors
  • Admissions 411
  • Representatives from the Georgia Student Finance Commission, Augusta University, Local Colleges, SACAC Institutions, and more will provide information. Bring your own questions and concerns and have them addressed by experts in the field.
