This can be used as a checklist and will provide you with the information needed for your registration and orientation.

To receive in-state tuition, you must provide us with supporting documentation that shows 12 months consecutive residence in GA at the time of application.
If you have 12 months consecutive residence in Aiken County, South Carolina or Edgefield County, South Carolina, you should complete a border county waiver form which can be found on the Registrar's website. Military service members may also be eligible for an out-of-state tuition waiver. Please visit the forms page for additional details.
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, which is the governing body
over the 35 public higher
education institutions in Georgia including the Augusta University, requires all applicants provide Augusta University with specific documentation verifying his/her lawful presence in the United States. For additional information, including acceptable documentation.

Augusta University, in keeping with the purposes of a health education institution
and the guidelines set forth
by the federal government, will work to accommodate students with disabilities as defined in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. All accepted students must, with reasonable accommodation, be able to meet the technical and academic standards of the program to which they are admitted.
If you have a disability and require special services, you must register and request accommodations from the Office of Testing and Disability Services.
In order to receive accommodations, students must provide current documentation of their disability from a qualified health professional (please refer to documentation criteria for specific types of disabilities). Housing applications are available to students along with their official letter of acceptance to Augusta University by the appropriate academic admissions office. If you wish to apply for housing, you may complete the application and submit to Housing and Residence Life, 830 Spellman Street, Augusta, GA 30912. The telephone number is (706) 729-2300.
Students with disabilities may need accommodations in order to have a full and integrated access to on-campus housing. As such, Housing and Residence Life and Testing and Disability Services work closely together to ensure accommodation needs are appropriately implemented for our students requiring assistance in residing on campus. Please contact Testing and Disability Services to initiate a housing accommodations request.
All Augusta University students on the health science campus students are required to have health insurance. United Healthcare (UHC) is the insurance company selected for the Augusta University health science campus. All students are charged a student health insurance premium for each semester. If a student already has health insurance that meets the campus requirements, the student must complete a waiver application. UHC will confirm the student's coverage. If the waiver is approved, a credit is posted on the student account. For questions or to review the information on student insurance and waivers, visit the Student Health pages.

In order to attend classes, per the Board of Regents, the University System of Georgia and the Augusta University immunization policies, all new Augusta University students on the health science campus must meet the established immunization requirements.
Go to the Student Health website to print and complete the required forms as instructed. All completed forms/documents should be uploaded at osh.augusta.edu 90 days prior to the start of class. An immunization hold will be placed on your account until you have completed all immunization requirements. Any questions should be emailed to email@example.com
If you fail to complete and submi the required forms and documentation prior to the start of class, you may not be allowed to attend classes.
If you have received a financial aid award and need to make adjustments to your award refer to the Office of Student Financial Aid website.
Please check email at least twice each week after setting up your JagID

Your JagCard is your official university id card. It must be carried with you at all times. Please stop by the JagCard Office located on the 2nd floor of the Jaguar Student Activity Center, room 236. You must bring with you a photo id. Approved forms of identification are: state driver’s license, military identification card, passport or state issued identification card. You must be registered and fees paid before receiving your JagCard.
All Augusta University students enrolled for six or more credit hours per semester are automatically charged the Wellness Center fee ($70.00 fall/spring semester, $30.00 summer). Students enrolled for five hours or less or who are not enrolled for the summer semester must pay the Wellness Center fee at the Augusta University Campus Business Office.
ALL Augusta University students are required to complete the Wellness Center Student Membership Activation form. The form must include the student’s signature as well as that of a witness. The activation form must be completed and returned to the Wellness Center prior to first visit.

Please visit the Augusta University Parking Office for information. (If you are not on the main campus in Augusta, you will need to pay parking fees at your respective campus.)
Now that you are a student at Augusta University, we will be using your student email
account (Outlook) for
official communication. As a student, you will be responsible for checking your Outlook email account at least once per day. Your Outlook email will be used to send you notifications regarding orientation, registration, financial aid, and billing.
Please note, all electronic correspondence from this point forward will be sent to your Outlook account. Should you have any trouble accessing your Outlook account, please contact our IT help desk at 706-721-4000.
