Pre-Collegiate

Health Sciences Summer Academy

The Health Sciences Summer Academy is a five day residential summer program created especially for talented rising junior and senior high school students. It offers a glimpse into a variety of health careers and majors using experiential instruction and engaging classroom activities.

The Cyber Sciences Summer Academy is a five day residential summer program created especially for talented rising junior and senior high school students designed to introduce high school students to the academic and professional world of cybersecurity and provide CSSA graduates a technical, competitive edge when students apply to colleges and universities.

Student Educational Enrichment Program (SEEP)

The Student Educational Enrichment Program prepares students for a career in the health professions through an extensive academic program that includes courses in various biomedical sciences, hands-on labs, clinical shadowing, networking opportunities, and guest speakers.

Summer LEADership Camp

Open to rising high school juniors, seniors, and exceptional sophomores, the focus of the camp is on emergent leaders with topics on teamwork, collaboration, communication, individual styles, and group dynamics.

Summer Volunteen Program

High school students, ages 15-18, will have an opportunity to interact with their local community to develop skills and acquire the knowledge of working in a professional environment while interacting with staff, patients and their families, and other volunteers.

Summer Music Camps

This program provides rising middle and high school students with intensive musical experiences and the opportunity to perform in an acoustically satisfying auditorium, the Maxwell Theatre. Students are given lessons in chamber music, choir, orchestra, and band. A mini music camp is scheduled for 2015 that is geared toward rising first and second graders as well.

Music Conservatory

The music conservatory is designed for learning the fundamentals of piano in a relaxed, stress-free environment. Learn note reading, rhythm, technique, and theory in a recreational, social setting.

Jaguar Athletics Volleyball (girls)

Jaguar Volleyball and Head Coach Sharon Quarles host the Jags Volleyball Summer Camp in Christenberry Fieldhouse in mid-June. All girls, ages 12-18, are invited to attend the four-day event from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the CFH gymnasium located off Wrightsboro Road. The camp is geared toward individual skills training and will focus on serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and individual defense. Competitions will be held daily as campers will be placed into groups of similar ability to showcase their skills.

Dip Metress Basketball Academy

The Dip Metress Basketball Academy is a weeklong camp that teaches basketball fundamentals and helps in developing sportsmanship and team play. The camp is located in Christenberry Fieldhouse and includes daily instruction from former and current Jaguar basketball players on ways to improve individual skills such as shooting, passing, and ball handling.

The men's and women's Augusta University Augusta Golf programs host the Jaguar Golf Camp in early June at the J. Fleming Norvell Golf House adjacent to Christenberry Fieldhouse off Wrightsboro Road. Camp costs include all instruction from Augusta University Augusta coaches and players, range balls, green fees at Forest Hills Golf Club, snacks, drinks, prizes, and a camp T-shirt. Golf Camp participants will receive skill instruction in the following areas: full swing, chipping, pitching, bunker play, putting, wedge play, course management, and more.

National History Day

National History Day engages students in the historical process. Over the course of the school year, students select a topic related to the year's theme. Rising seventh, eighth, and ninth graders can get involved with camps that include fine arts, design basics, writing and photography, and health and sciences as well as aviation.

Augusta Junior Model United Nations

Augusta University's AJMUN is a simulation of the United Nations that seeks to introduce students to the process of diplomacy, negotiation, and statecraft used in the international community, while also exposing students to different cultures and nationalities throughout the world. Kids University

Children who have completed K through sixth grade as of June 2015 are eligible to attend this camp in academic enrichment courses in daily art projects and creative play that includes courses such as sign language, engineering, data collecting, and building.

Jaguar Athletics Nike Baseball Camp

Nike Baseball Camp returns to Augusta University Augusta for two weeks of summer camp directed by Head Coach Jason Eller. As a complete skills camp, little league players will be exposed to new techniques and skills to build upon their existing fundamentals to become better overall players.
